A job interview is a process in which a potential employee is evaluated by an employer for prospective employment in their company, organization, or firm. During this process, the employer hopes to determine whether or not the applicant is suitable for the job. RoleA job interview typically precedes the hiring decision, and is used to evaluate the candidate. The interview is usually preceded by the evaluation of submitted résumés from interested candidates, then selecting a small number of candidates for interviews. Potential job interview opportunities also include networking events and career fairs. The job interview is considered one of the most useful tools for evaluating potential employees. It also demands significant resources from the employer, yet has been demonstrated to be notoriously unreliable in identifying the optimal person for the job. An interview also allows the candidate to assess the corporate culture and demands of the job. Multiple rounds of job interviews may be used where there are many candidates or the job is particularly challenging or desirable. Earlier rounds may involve fewer staff from the employers and will typically be much shorter and less in-depth. A common initial interview form is the phone interview, a job interview conducted over the telephone. This is especially common when the candidates do not live near the employer and has the advantage of keeping costs low for both sides. Once all candidates have been interviewed, the employer typically selects the most desirable candidate and begins the negotiation of a job offer. From Wikipedia under the

Congratulation for giving importance to your future. Anyway, try to wear a semi-formal outfit. Another thing is that before you get in to the room, do some stretching to get relaxed and be ready to do some sternous activity. I'll be praying for your career. Answered by PAC - Thu Nov 27 03:48:47 2008 How do you schedule a job interview during the week when you already have a job during business hours? Q. They say it's best to look for a job while you're still employed. Well most employers only interview during business hours so how are you supposed to get time off in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day to go to a job interview? And what if you have multiple interviews during the week? What are you supposed to tell your employer and/or future employer about scheduling? Asked by Jessica M - Thu Jun 7 19:13:51 2007 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. Many companies will work around your schedule and meet your after work. Otherwise - schedule as late as you can and go to your "Doctor's Appointment" Answered by tigglys - Thu Jun 7 19:18:52 2007 What to expect in a job interview for car rental agent?
Q. I am going for a job interview for a car rental agent position. What type of questions should I expect? Asked by unknown - Tue Feb 16 14:04:01 2010 - - 0 Answers - 0 Comments A. Questions about your customer service ability, solving problems, working with people who are angry, learning new processes, and if you will be driving/operating the vehicle - a clean driving record. You should also be prepared to answer questions regarding your flexibility around scheduling, job responsibilities, overtime, etc. If it's really in-depth, they may use what are called BEI (behavioral ) interview questions that will ask you to provide recent examples of your work habits, responsibilities and achievements.
