A job is a regular thing performed to create a value in society (and personality of individual) for meeting the needs of that individual. A person usually begins a job by becoming an employee, volunteering, or starting a business. The duration of a job may range from an hour (in the case of odd jobs) to a lifetime (in the case of some judges). If a person is trained for a certain type of job, they may have a profession. The series of jobs a person holds in their life is their career.

Jobs for people

Most people spend a good portion of their time doing a regular occupation. Generally exceptions are if you are a student, disabled, or retired.

A. You would be required to have academic training and probably some experience to be considered 'qualified' for the task in question.

I have been working for the same company for a number of years first employed as an engineer and then progressed into managment, the company is going through a few problems so i went back out as an engineer to help them as they were short on staff, my boss now wants me to go into sales to work as a salesman as this department now needs help this is not what i want to do or what i am trained to do. Do you have to disclose a mental health problem on a job application?
Q. Is there a legal reason which says that you have to disclose, if it would not affect the job role? I know that someone would not be covered by the DDA if it mental health became an issue at work. If someone chose not to disclose and the employer found out about it from another source, can the employer use the fact that they did not disclose it, as a reason not to shortlist the applicant for interview?

A. If they specifically ask you if you have a mental health condition you do have to tell them, or you will be liable. If they don't have a reason to ask you and don't then don't tell them. Health Information Privacy Act . . .
